Replacement Ball Valve for the Gen 3 BrewZilla / DigiBoil. Silicone washer and stainless nut included, but not pictured.

Not compatible with BrewZilla Gen 4.

are the treads 1/2" male pipe thread on the barb piece that screws off the outlet end of the valve or some other type?

BEST ANSWER: Just measured this with calipers and it appears to be 0.8" so not standard.
what is the thread size? I'm looking to make a sample port on a homemade fermenter and the weldless bulkhead is 1/2" thread

Does this ball valve fit a Brewer's Edge Mash and Boil?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it fit my Mash and Boil. The valve that came with the Mash and Boil was garbage and drained real slow. Brewer's edge only had identical replacements for high price. The valve I got at More beer worked fine. And it did not leak.
Does it have the safety lock on it? My original doesn't and I don't like it.

Worked great for my application.
I had to cut down shank to make it fit into tee, but it works great for purging air re-circulation lines and transfers to boil kettle.
