Description

These are reconditioned 5-gallon capacity, ball lock corny kegs with rubber tops and bottoms (color may vary).

The interior and exterior of these corny kegs are washed and rinsed and all gaskets are replaced to ensure that no soda flavor or residue is left behind. We are one of the only suppliers to do this. We do not replace relief valves or poppets, however these can be purchased separately via part numbers KEG540 and KEG450.

Corny kegs are pressure tested and are guaranteed to be holding pressure upon delivery. If they are not holding pressure, please notify us as soon as possible.

All kegs are used and have cosmetic blemishes, i.e. minor scratches, dings and stickers. These blemishes will not affect the functionality of the keg.

Body connects should be removed for cleaning and sanitizing before every use. Soda kegs may come with either 11/16 inch body connects or 7/8 inch body connects. We sell deep sockets for the removal of either one (Part numbers KEG991 and KEG992.  We suggest purchasing both if you do not have these at home.

Ball lock corny kegs are approximately 8.5" Diam. x 25" Height. 26 1/4" Height with Flare fittings. Measurements may vary slightly.

Good value
Good keg at a good value. Was in good shape when it arrived. Even had pressure on it!

Buy new kegs
Returning 7 out of 8 for multiple reasons (excessive dents, rusty threads, welds with interior cracks. They all came clean (but dented/scratched/welded on the inside but my gut tells me "no." New kegs are $40 more than used kegs. I'm ordering 5 new kegs to replace the 7 returned kegs and now must pay shipping back. Learn from my mistake.

Good Keg
The keg i got was in great shape. Much cleaner than what I've been able to buy locally.

i love these kegs
These kegs have helped me out so much with brewing its crazy. I have not bottled beer in so long because of how simple easy it is to use these things. Cleaning is a snap and preparing the keg is even easier. Would highly recommend into getting into kegging over bottling. You can even keg the beer and still bottle some from the keg if you want.

Works great
Not the prettiest but the inside was clean and it held co2 out of the box.

Complete junk
The keg I got was dirty and smelled of root beer. Now that part I could forgive. The thing that I can't forgive is the fact that the keg lid NEVER sealed properly. I never contacted customer service about it because I had already racked my beer into it and figured since it was technically used by me now, I couldn't return it. I didn't even take my chances with buying a second used keg, I just bought 2 new ones. It's my fault for not checking the seal before racking, but when a company says the seals have been replaced and it's a "reconditioned" keg, I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'll make sure not to make that mistake again.

Good stuff
This is a good choice if you can't afford to buy a new keg. Mine was in pretty decent condition too so I can't complain :)

Great for a used keg
Must be pretty popular since its almost out of stock all the time. Bought mine about 1.5 years ago, and it is still going strong. Haven't even had to replace the rings on it like other kegs I have.
