i want to make alcohol-free root beer with this and item SF102 and looking at the recipe (making and bottling root beer) would it work or not?
Matteo on May 5, 2021
BEST ANSWER: If you carbonate naturally with yeast, then a very small amount of alcohol will be produced as the yeast creates CO2. If you force carbonate using a CO2 tank, then no alcohol will be produced. The alcohol will only be produced if you add yeast.
is there a alcohol-free root beer extract for the item (SF102)?
Matteo on May 4, 2021
BEST ANSWER: There is no alcohol in the extract itself, however if you are naturally carbonating than you will end up with a small amount of alcohol. To avoid this force carbonate in a keg, or use a carb cap on a clean 2 litter soda bottle

Makes Great Root Beer
I have been using this wonderful root beer extract for 20+ years. I merely put it in a corny keg, with half the weight of honey as the suggested amount of sugar and force carbonate. I usually take a keg full to parties and everybody raves about it.
