What is the OD that this tip fits, you list as 1/2 ID? My 1/2" cane has a outside diameter (OD) of 5/8"

BEST ANSWER: The opening on the tip is 1/2 inch and would fit a 1/2 OD cane. If your cane ID is 5/8”, you’ll need a larger tip

I think this item is mislabeled as ID. Mine fits tubing that is 1/2" OD (actually 15/32").

This tip will not fit a cane with an outer diameter of 5/8. 1/2 inch OD cane would work.

The inside diameter of this tip is 1/2” so it is for a tube with an OD of 1/2”.

Great racking cane tips.

These are great devices for the racking tube. It keeps sediment out of your developing beverage. These racking cane tips are the best. They arrived way over packaged. Maybe you could ship them out in a smaller padded envelope.
However, they are a necessity for racking.
