These work great no plastic handle to worry about .nd good marking on them too.
Nice bucket - holds stuff…
Good quality plastic and easy to clean
I am using the buckets to mix self leveling concrete. The extra large buckets make it easier to mix the concrete without making a mess.
It's a bucket. Works fine. The semi-transparent plastic is nice so you can see what's going on with your fermentation while offering some protection from light.
What is not to like? The gallon markings are great. I wish the bucket was a little more see through .
I have used these buckets since 2002 and they never disappoint. Great product.
Always fast delivery.
These buckets are high quality and slightly translucent. It was surprising how welcome the translucency was!
Nice bucket, easy to use
Nice heavy duty 6 gallon bucket, sturdy handle. Just what I needed!!! Thanks!!!
Prefect, I need these and they were priced right
This was the best place I found to buy 6 gal buckets. The shipping was extremely fast! Very Happy
I like the more beer bucket because it's opaque so it's easy to see the beer level. Also the graduation measurements are right on the money. Other buckets I've purchased are solid white making it hard to see the liquid level and or the side graduations were off.
Use them for everything, primary, long term, wild ales.
Great product for the price. Just needed some extra fermentation containers
Just what I needed for a fermenter
Don't forget the lids; I did. They are separate.
It’s a fantastic bucket for cleaning and storing my sanitizer.
I love these for fermenting my mead. I just wish the lids sealed better
I find these much easier to work with then carboys which are at the very least heavy and at the very worst deadly hazardous. There’s more beer buckets come with a very nice easy sealing flexible lid that last a long time, the handles are strong and their new spicket’s are wonderful with the trub trap already built in.
Lid does not provide a good seal. Air locks therefore do not indicate fermentation activity
A bucket is a bucket but love to support my favorite HBS
Great buckets.price was right too!!
This bucket is not nearly as opaque as my last one - while fermenting I could see the krausen without popping the lid (it helped if I used a flashlight). This was a big win for me, I just had to keep it covered to protect it from light. I did manage to scratch the inside somehow (just a bit) and was being very careful, so not sure yet re: durability, but so far so good.
It accels at bucket type things.
I don't ferment in buckets so I just use mine for sanitizing and washing. It works fine for this purpose.
Have a couple of these and they work great. Use them for sanitizing and bottling. They stack well and are great for storage.
I have three sets for fermenting. I've never had a seal or bad taste problem with any of them. I have had a top blow off twice, due to very active fermentation (and now use the SSA with locks), but I think these buckets generally work well.
Use it for my wine and beer, no issues. Be sure to use a blow off tube if doing beer in this however, or you may come home to an unsightly explosion and mess.
Very useful for sanitizing during brewing
What good is a fermentation bucket without the lid? Shocked by the arrival of a useless plastic bucket.
The description literally says it does NOT come with a lid. It's not just a fermentation bucket. There are plenty of uses for this bucket without needing a lid... mixing sanitizer, holding strike water after carbon filtration or RO, soaking hoses and equipment in cleaning solution.
