Yes, they are cheap but I don't think they are worth the paper they are printed on. Almost impossible to read. I used them a couple of time and threw the rest in the garbage. The colorphast strips, while more expensive, actually work very well and get the job done. I'd suggest saving your money and purchasing the colorphast strips instead.
(For use in checking mash pH) These strips are really only useful if you have no clue what your mash pH is and want to see if you are somewhat close to ideal. The colorwheel only delineates half degrees, so it can only give you a rough measure. However, if you have no idea about your mash pH then this is a fine intro product. The plus is that these strips are incredibly cheap.
