Description

This dual purpse brewing ingredient gets its popularity from a clean bitterness and a pleasant aroma. Soft spice and floral notes make Perle a nice addition to Lagers and Hefeweizens.

Fresh as could be (for pellets). Used 7oz in our Dopplebock and used the other Oz and some additional Perle on our second running brew.

So Noble-ish
Great American noble like hop. I used in a standard American lager and in my blond ales.

Excellent Hefeweissen hop
I use these in my "bavarian hefeweissen" brew. This is a lightly hopped beer, so, I use .75 oz Perle for bittering and
0.5 oz tettnang for flavor. Comes out great. I crowd pleaser even for people who claim they don't "like" beer.

Not memorable
I believe I was recommended this hop as a substitute for Saaz which was oos. Doesn't strike me as something that stood out in the beer.
