Description

This spice has a peppery zing to it, but also brings a balance of citrus notes and an earthy pine aroma. Typically used in Belgian-Style specialty and holiday beers. Crush lightly before using and add to the boil. Combine with Licorice Root and Sweet Orange Peel for a great Belgian Holiday beer.

I use Paradise Seed in a saison with some citrus zest and coriander. Delicious! The possibilities are endless

a little too much
Added the amount per recipe, but a little too peppery for my taste.

Nice brewing spice.
I like this spice. I add it to some of my Belgian style beers. I would recommend buying this.

Quality Spice.
It adds a nice flavor to a wide variety of beers. I suggest crushing it in a coffee mill to a fine powder.

PEPPERY
Great adjunct in some of my Belgian Style beers to add just enough peppery taste without overpowering the malt!

I love this spice
Not as aggressive as black pepper but this gives a great peppery spice to Belgians and Saisons. I made a Delirium Tremens clone with Ginger, Coriander, and Paradise seed that was out of this world.
