Simply the best, safest way to transfer your barrel aged beer! Pushing your beer out of the barrel with inert gas like CO2 eliminates the possible points of oxidation or infection that could come from using a pump.
After using similar tools available on the market, we took what we liked and disliked and made our own. Obviously we're proud of the price, but perhaps more impressive are the polished finish and the excellent quality welds.
Many brewers like to use this with an attached sight gauge. We found that it's much easier to clean the tool when the sight gauge is detachable, so we offer it as an accessory instead of having it welded onto the wand (sight-gauge H664, clamp H652, gasket h656).
Quality Features
Stainless lock down mechanism to adjust height

Compression Bung to form airtight seal with barrel
Adjustable lees pin
1.5" Tri-Clover Outlet
1/4" Stainless Steel Ball Valve with FPT inlet for inert gas
31" height from lees pin to pictured stopper

counting on it being commercial grade, durable, and function as well as the bulldog or rackiteer....within reason considering the price.

We needed a faster rate of emptying 60 gallon wine barrels and our pumps added some oxygen to the wine being transferred.

is this height adjustable to fit any size barrel? I have several 5 and 10 gallon barrels i need it for. HELP!
Francisco Ramos on Jan 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, not only does it have an adjustable lees pin at the bottom but the whole valve and bung assembly can be adjusted along the whole length of the racking cane to accommodate various size barrels.
Does this tool pressurize the tank being transferred from the top or the bottom? I’m concerned about disturbing the lees at the bottom of the tank during transfer if the gas comes out the bottom of the tool.
Shawn wichman on Oct 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Gas pressure is added below the stopper. Pressure is added above liquid in the barrel to draw liquid up. It does not bubble gas through the liquid
I have several stainless kegs (old firestones) that take a #10 stopper. Any idea if the stopper will fit this sized keg?
Mark Parker on Mar 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure what a #10 stopper dimensions are. The small end of this one is 1.75 inches. At the top its closer to 2.25 inches. It expands to seal the bung hole when you turn the lower screw handle right above the rubber stopper. I would say if the hole in your keg is about 2 inches this will work.

I'm not surprised I love it!
Arrived to the brewey FAST! Excellent build quality (as you would expect from these guys) and perfect operation. I tried this out on MoreBeer's reputation alone, and it didn't disappoint.

Seems well made, won't fit smaller barrels
I'm glad I got this, but we get barrels from a variety of sources and some of them have openings that are smaller than the compression bung, which makes this a lot less useful to us than I was hoping it would be.

Excellent barrel pump
I highly recommend this device for "pumping" wine from your barrels. It is simple to use, minimizes oxygen exposure and is easy to clean up.
