Includes Extension?:

A complete kit that includes the Monster MM2 mill and hopper, with or without the extension. Monster mills are known for being great quality, top of the line, homebrewing mills. The mill itself consists of a 6061 aluminum block frame with two 6" long, 1.5" wide steel rollers riding on SAE 841 oil impregnated bronze bushings. Monster Mills use a superior grade of steel that is much harder than what is found on most comparable products and in most cases will last almost twice as long. The drive shaft, and all the axles are integral to the roller rather than screwed into the ends. This means that the mill works great driven clockwise or counter-clockwise. All the axles are 3/8", with minimal freeplay in the bushings.

One of the knurled steel rollers is driven by a standard 3/8" electric drill or hand crank (not included) to feed the grain through the adjustable gap and crush the grist. Both ends of the non-driven roller ride in bushings that are offset and mounted in an adjustable knob. The knob is held in a fixed position by a set-screw that you can loosen to adjust the mill. This system provides an adjustment range of .070". The knobs are made from 303 stainless steel for excellent durability, and are larger in diameter than the competition, as well as knurled for a positive grip. They've also added a groove in the newest design knobs with a matching rounded head on the thumbscrew that allows for a much better grip on the knob to avoid gap changes while milling, and also providing knob retention.

These Packages come complete with a Base, 2 Roller Monster Mill Body, and a Hopper.  Choose whether to include the Hopper Extension, which upgrades Hopper capacity to a huge 39 lb!  Check out our 3 Roller Mill Packages if looking for even more crushing power.

It's a beast!
My more than 6 year old Barley Crusher has seen better days but it was worth it and I got every penny out of it but I wanted something beefier but didn't want to shell out the money for a MM3 so this was the one.
Only used it once and it crushes the grain almost twice as fast. I BIAB so I have it set to give me a good crush and it worked well.
Only 1 con and that was the instructions could be much better. Not that it was hard, just could have been faster with better instructions. The videos I found on youtube don't really show installation, just setting mill gap.
Still, it's a great mill for homebrewers.

Monster Mill Great value
Received my Monster Mill about two weeks ago and finally got to make a batch today. Mill works great and very well built. Read many reviews on different mills and the only one with great reviews was the Monster Mill. I have the MM 2 mill. Well worth the money. I use the Grainfather brew system and milled at .055. Got 75% efficiency. Very happy with this quality mill. Well worth the little extra money for this mill. You won't have to be worried about having to buy another one.

Real Bite!
This is my third grain mill and definitely the best. It really chews through a bucket of grain. Wish I bought it to begin with. It might be the only one I needed...

Very Happy, Works Great, Wish the Hopper Was A Little Bigger
This is my first mill. I've used it 3 times now. Works great, assembly took 30-45 min. Adjustment is easy, just follow instructions, you need a feeler guage, I used the one I use for spark plugs, can get one at any auto parts store. It mows through the hopper (about 7lbs) in about 30 seconds using a hand drill. It will get jammed if you don't give the drill some gas from the get go and stay at a consistent high speed. Loosening the adjustment for roller distance is how you un jam it but then you don't know what your roller distance is. I'm doing modified BIAB and milling to a finer size which helps keep mash efficiency up. There is a hopper extension but it is big extends from 7 to 39 pounds. I wish they would have designed the base hopper for 15 lbs or so of capacity so a single 5 gal batch would not need a reload.
