Description

The KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator is a beefy, industrial-grade regulator that you will enjoy using for years to come.

  • Easily adjusted by hand
  • Duotight adapter fitting included for use with EVABarrier draft tubing
  • Heavy duty steel gauges with rubber bumpers

The robust body and precision diaphragm provide high flow rates, and the pressure can be easily and precisely adjusted with the hand dial. Extra thick stainless gauges come with rubber bumpers for added protection. The dial faces are triple-scaled to read in psi, bar and kPa.

The PRV is rated to 65 psi (4.5 bar) for added safety while in use. Comes with male flare thread gas-out with included 1/4" barb and nut. Easily swap out the barb to a different size if desired. On the back of the regulator body are three M6 screw holes for mounting (screws not included).

Each KOMOS regulator includes a Duotight Adapter, allowing for quick connection of EVABarrier draft tubing for a solid, yet easy to change, way of connecting gas line. Add Duotight Tees to easily split the line to multiple kegs.

Features:

  • 0–60 PSI operating range
    • Low pressure gauge reads from 0–100
    • Pull ring PRV rated to blow off at 65 PSI
  • Strong, robust design

Need an additional regulator to carbonate kegs.
William S on Dec 13, 2022
By following the instructions, I set up a new KOMOS 4-tap kegerator. I water tested the completed CO2 system including all of the Duotight connections and the ball-lock disconnects with the pressure set at 20 psi,. Nothing leaks! Then I tested the system as a whole by turning the gas bottle on, setting the pressure at 20 psi then shutting the gas bottle off. The pressure remains a 20 psi for several minutes. But then the gauges show the pressure slowly dropping to zero over a period of 10-15 seconds. What’s the problem? Is this something the regulator is doing?
Edward Harrison on Jan 21, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Check to make sure the Pressure Release Valve is tight. Mine was lose and when I was quick carbing a keg I had wort back fill thru the CO2 line and thru the valve.
I set this up today and cannot seem to get the pressure to keg at less that 60psi. This happens even with the dial practically falling out. If I tighten at all it exceeds pressure rating and starts blowing off through the prv. I have been kegging for about 15 years with many brands of regulators and have never had this happen. Any ideas?
David Rufino on Mar 10, 2023
BEST ANSWER: Are you sure you turned the black knob to the left at first until you feel no resistance of the valve. Then did you release the pressure inside the system by pulling the ring of the blow off valve. This done the unit and hoses have zero pressure. If you install it now to your CO2 tank and you have a non leaking connection, by tightening the metal hex nut. Now open the bottle and watch the index of the primary gauge rise. Turn the regulator valve to the right if you reach the recommended pressure, let's say 15 psi. If you get direct with the open bottle on the low pressure side an high pressure, then your diaphragm inside or the spring is broken. It is not recommended or advised to open the part or to use a hammer and hit it a couple of times . I know there exist in the world of the web videos, where they repaired a hanging spring with one or two hard hits on the backside of the regular ,but I would never do that nor recommend it to anyone. This is dangerous, and maybe in other countries an usual repair, but never here in the US. Maybe the diaphragm is cut or worn out. if you have warranty send it back. If it has a cut, check the price first for the spare part and compare it with a new regulator.
What size thread are on the gauges? One of mine got damaged and would like to replace it with a digital gauge.
Zach Grieger on Jun 1, 2022
BEST ANSWER: The gauges have 1/4 BSP straight threads and are sealing with a gasket in the bottom of the bore, unlike the typical American gauges that have 1/4 NPT taper threads where thread sealant tape would be used. Using a 1/4 NPT gauge would kinda work, but there's an increased chance of leakage and damage to the threads in the regulator body.
Can you safely swap out the 65 PSI PRV with a 100 PSI PRV for seltzer?
Jimmy Tran on Oct 16, 2021
BEST ANSWER: The PRV pressure should be set for the lowest rated device in your system. If all of your equipment is rated for 100 PSI then yes.
Does this come with a CO2 tank sealing washer?
Zach Grieger on Sep 19, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Yes. There is actually a spare attached as well. You can see the spare in the picture attached by a zip tie so it doesn't get lost.
I have this pressure regulator. I like the duotight adapters. I am hoping to send different psi to each of 3 kegs. Any suggestions for best thing to use with this komos regulator and duotight fittings?
Paul C on Sep 22, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Build your own duotight and evabarrier based manifold/secondary regulator line using the inline secondary regulators sold here. However, I cannot recommend the duotight in-line regulator with gauge, or the duotight spunding valve (with built in gauge) to check your pressure - the dials are too small to get a precise reading from. Build your own spunding valve with a digital pressure gauge, or get one of the ones sold here with larger gauges, and check the serve pressure on each regulator using that. That's what I did for a four way serve line.

Cheap quality.
Came with my quad tap kegerator. I was using it to push sanitizer through the kegs and it suddenly stopped working. Trying to move the pressure adjustment knob and it must have cross threaded though it was working fine a minute earlier. Trying to remove the knob snapped the plastic holding it on the barb - which is locked in place. I will be ordering a different regulator from elsewhere and throwing this brand new piece of junk away. I certainly hope the kegerator is better quality.

I would stay clear of this product!!
Came with my KOMOS kegerator and it was a piece of junk. It leaked out of the box and I wish there was a valve to regulate pressure to keg. Shouldn't these things be checked prior to leaving the manufacturer?

Horrible regulator compared to Tap Rite
No matter how the connections were made it leaked. It worked for a day and then pressure gone. The safety valve also kept popping. It's no where near the quality of my tap Rite. I switched back to my 12 year old tap Rite from a brand new one that came with my komos kegerator.

Simple, highly accurate, protected gauges, and includes an 8mm DuoTight fitting!
My old regulator failed, research led me to 2, and I bought this KOMOS regulator have been extremely pleased. My ONLY complaint is that the connection to the tank is a tiny bit too short...an extra 1" would be perfect, though it's still fine as-is.

It connected easily, leak-tested just fine, and when I hooked everything back up, I was pleased to regulate pressure down to just 2 PSI, wow. The pressure knob has a good feel and is non-slippery, is very responsive, and it's quick 'n easy to dial-in precise pressures. I also like the gauges having knurly rubber bumpers built-in to provide basic protection, though I'd recommend a protection basket if your environment warrants it.

If you use 8mm OD DuoTight fittings and hoses like I do, you'll love this regulator...it's already included!

Just what I was looking for
I bought a special machine that needed a regulator that had a working pressure of at least 75 psi. Most regulators have a release valve that gives up at 62 psi. but by purchasing the 100 psi accessory I was able to simply change out the valve in a matter of a few seconds and it has been working great so far. Thanks for having great products and for being helpful when I emailed.

Output gauge overrated for typical serving pressure
Decided to upgrade my regulator that came with my kegerator with this one. Everything is great but as others have pointed out, the output gauge is way overrated. It should be in the 0 to 60 psi range. Makes setting a typical serving pressure almost impossible. I might switch the gauge with the other regulator’s output gauge.

Needs improvement
Needs gas line output shutoff valve with check valve. Output gauge range is too high for typical 8-12 psi serving pressure accuracy. Adjustment valve is designed for fine tuning of higher pressures than 8-12 psi serving pressure. Bottom line: can’t trust output pressure setting. Otherwise generally good.
