If you’re having problems stirring your mash, this Stainless Steel Mash Paddle with Holes (36”) may be the solution to your issues. 

 
The burly mash paddle is made to last from 100% stainless steel. Conveniently pre-drilled with ten 1/2” holes to allow your mash to pass through the paddle, making it easier to fully mix the mash and eliminate dough balls. At 36 inches long it can accommodate practically any home brewing system.

What is the width of the widest part of the paddle? just want to make sure that it will fit between the pipe and the malt basket for the brewzilla 35L without having to turn it sideways to use it like i do with the paddle i currently use

BEST ANSWER: The paddle is 4 5/8 (4.625) inches wide.

Other dimensions:
-handle is 1 inch diameter
-paddle is 1/16 (0.125) inches thick
-flat paddle is 9 inches long (including tapered area)

Heavy duty
If you're looking for a spoon that won't bend this is it. Wouldn't recommend for smaller batches or stove top use but it works great in my 17g digimash.

Huge mash paddle
It’s a well constructed stainless steel mash paddle. Since the handle is hollow it doesn’t get hot. If you need a mash paddle this big I’d say go for it.

Great paddle!
Great paddle, heavy, well built, should last a lifetime. It is larger than what I need and I probably should have purchased a shorter one, but I can always use it as a backup paddle for kayaking.

Does the job, easy to clean
I have used hardwood mash paddles forever, finally made the leap to stainless steel. Much easier to keep clean. The holes make for easier mixing. I little pricey, but I should never have to replace.

great mash paddle
I had previously been using a stainless steel spoon from my extract brewing days, but this paddle is a far better option for breaking up dough balls. I just used it for the first time, and it works perfectly.
