Description

The largest hydrometer jar we carry perfect for use with our specialty Brix hydrometers.  Especially great for winemaking where the larger diameter is nice and the sample will be returned the ferment anyways.

Is this hydrometer jar made of plastic or glass?

BEST ANSWER: Plastic.
FWIW I bought one about a year ago. It leaks at the base. I thought about sealing it with epoxy, but it's so large that it isn't useful to me anyway.

Too large for what I hoped to do
Really too large. I was also surprised that the tube separates from the base - happened at a very inopportune time.
