IPA coming up, need this beast.

Crowd favorite for our house hazy IPA. More esters & no hollow mid-palate like we found with London III.

It was an option. Researching, it said a dry yeast is best. Sounded fine. Haven't had luck with wet yeast.

The king of dry yeasts for hazy ipa.
This is the must have dry yeast for hazy ipa. Apricot and soft mouthfeel are key takeaways from the yeast. Yeast works very effectively and finishes at 75% attenuation. I like this so much better than W1318 and making starters.

Verdant IPA for Hazy
First time using this yeast and I was impressed.

Ran fast and kept the haze that I was hoping to see.
Really helped to push the citrus and tropical fruit flavors to the forefront.

I would used this strain again

Cheers

It's a dry version of London Ale III
So impressed! It's great to finally have a dry version of London Ale III. This is cheaper and more convenient than keeping a beloved liquid pack of London Ale III or Omega British V alive and viable. I made an Irish Red ale with it. I've brewed this recipe 4+ times with liquid Brit V yeast from Omega. This batch made with Verdant IPA was every bit as good and tasted just like it should. Great yeast. Has a permanent spot in my dry yeast bank now.

Aggressive fermentation!
We used a single pouch of Verdant IPA yeast in a 5 gallon batch of pale ale with OG of 1066. It ferments as fast and aggressively as a Kveik, but at 65F. Within 12 hours of pitching there was a rapid convection current visible in the fermenter. Within 24 hours it had blown the bung out of the fermenter and spread yeast over the table. Fermentation finished in 4 days, and if my calcs are right it achieved over 80% attenuation for a very dry pale ale with pleasant fruit notes from the yeast.

Good yeast started fast.
This yeast took off like a rocket. Know starter just direct pitch. Activity started in 12 hours.
