Description

The KOMOS Kegerator is the best value in home kegerators and has a very impressive feature list. With push-to-connect Duotight fittings the KOMOS kegerator is very easy to assemble. Also unique is stainless steel Intertap, forward sealing faucets and stainless steel towers. It features a digital controller, stainless steel door, stainless steel floor, rolling casters, tower cooling fan, glass rack, robust KOMOS regulator, and a list of options.

Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller that can adjust internal temperatures from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use it for fermentation and is something that other kegerators don't do. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice.

Stainless Intertap Faucets and Towers
All kegerators come with Intertap faucets mounted on a stainless tower. Intertap faucets are the newest, most advanced, forward sealing, beer faucets on the market today and will work perfectly for years. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Intertap faucets feature a modular, threaded spout that can fit a variety of attachments including a growler filler or stout spout. This model includes the all stainless faucet which we think is a must have upgrade over chrome plated brass. This is the model sitting in the middle of the MoreBeer! office. Yes, it's tough... but we do have to test these products for you.

Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.

EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.

Komos Regulator
The included high quality Komos regulator maintains consistent pressure. The regulator includes a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line.

Added Features
One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China.

The stainless floor is a nice touch, as is the glass rack, which holds pint glasses horizontally or Belgian style tulip glasses upside down by the stem. A pint glass (or 22 oz beer bottle) will also slide horizontally into the rack. Easily remove the glass rack if you want to store 3 kegs. Way cool.

The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed.

Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer!
We've looked around, and when you factor in fast and free shipping, you are getting the very best value on a kegerator in the USA.  Plus you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. However, it will be delivered via Fed-Ex ground so damage is possible. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it.

Are these made by the Kegland guys? Is this the same as the series 4 I bought last year? Also when will MoreBeer be carrying the Series X from Kegland?

Has anyone fit a half barrel full size commercial keg in one of these? it says it will fit but I have my doubts?
daniel on Dec 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Daniel - Yes, a half barrel size commercial keg will fit in this model.
Can this unit be used on my covered lanai? On a hot day the ambient temperature gets up to 85 degrees. Thanks!
Kevin A. Williams on Jun 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have mine in an unairconditioned Florida room year around and it works well. There are some days that it is over 100F out and it keeps it to 38-40F, but that is rare. Make sure it has room around it to breath and dissipate the heat.
Where is the best location to mount a 3X secondary regulator? Can I avoid drilling? My CO2 is external. Its obvious 3 CO2 lines won't fit through the existing hole.
Gregg Carney on Feb 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Gregg - Please check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp1GpzMCYvY

If that doesn't help please give us a call at 1-800-600-0033 or email us at info@moreflavor.com for further assistance. (If you email us pictures of what we are working with, it will help the process move along smoothly)
Does this include a 3 way manifold for the gas lines or are they all connected to the same?
David Schneider on May 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not include a manifold. It comes with splitters. I added a manifold where the glass rack is which is not really functional anyway with three kegs. I'd recommend this but then you will also need some different tubing. The tubing that comes with the keg will be nearly impossible to get on the manifold. I am happy to have the beer running thru the provided tubing and gas running on the bigger tubing.
What would it take for the CO2 tank be external?
John Powell on Jul 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a holder that mounts to the back and holds the CO2 tank. There is also a dedicated port to allow the gas line into the kegerator. If you get a 2 or 3 tap model, they send enough barbed T-splitters to allow you to get gas to all your kegs.
I just purchased a 5 gallon Torpedo Homebrew Kegging Kit. Is this kegerator my best option for chilling and dispensing my brew?
gerald jones on Apr 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have used this for over a year and I'm very happy with the quality of this. It holds three 5-gallon kegs like the Torpedo kit one, has adjustable temperature that goes pretty high (so if you want to use it as a fermentation temperature control fridge, too, you can do so), and the price is right. The tubing it comes with is not the best, the three-tap version makes it nearly impossible to install the middle faucet firmly, and the oetiker clamps that ship with it leave something to be desired. The faucets are good but don't have flow control. There's only one regulator that comes with the unit and room for only one carb tank, so you'll need to keep everything on the same pressure, or get some in-line regulators. I recommend buying the one- or two-tap version, an in-line regulator for the two-tap, and either cut your lines very long to provide backpressure, or get flow control gear.

Happy kegging!

The unit I recently received makes loud whooshing sounds a bit after the compressor turns on and which continues for a while after the compressor shuts off. Does this happen to anyone else? The kegerator is perfectly level.
Brian Hannah on Nov 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I just installed mine 2 weeks ago and it makes the same loud noise. I have a friend that bought his unit in July, his says Kegland and makes no noise. Thats why I bought this system. Some what concerned.Enter an answer to this question.
Is the door reversible?
Andrew Littlejohn on Sep 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Andrew - Yes, the door is reversible, however be careful to remove the pin grommets that hold the door in place. Or new ones can probably be picked up from most any appliance dealer.

Sturdy and impressive
It takes some work setting up. Give it a good hour. If using the Duotight fittings make sure to push hoses in as hard as you can before pulling back. Otherwise you may end up with beer inside your fridge like me. A little trouble shooting and testing before putting beer on tap would go a long way. Otherwise it works great and is quiet enough to use in a loft space.

3 Tap Komos Kegerator
I bought this kegerator to replace my keezer which had finally bit the dust. My only other experience with a kegerator is an old Edgestar 2 tap I still have and the Komos is much, much better. Pros: Delivery was fast and free. Unboxing and initial set up was relatively easy. The kegerator looks great and I love the digital temp is right on the front. First beer poured had the perfect amount of foam and poured easily. Cons: Does not come with written instructions. Really. Missing some duo fit pieces out of the box (Morebeer took care of this immediately). The faucet tower requires a lot of patience and time to set up and, as others have noted, does not secure firmly to the top of the kegerator. This is a shame, as it really cheapens the experience of pouring a beer from such a cool looking kegerator! This seems like a pretty easy thing to change (longer screws and a metal plate inside the fridge to secure them to would probably do it.) Tip: make sure you are using the right tubing when assembling the tower as the "gas" tubing and "beer" tubing look really similar. I installed the gas tubing the first time instead of the beer and had to do it all over again. :-( A short "how to" video pointing out things like this would be super helpful! Overall I'm very satisfied with the look and performance of this kegerator and would highly recommend it. My last suggestion for a change would be to offer a secondary gas manifold that fits inside. A true secondary regulator for three taps barely fits inside with three kegs and you have to take the kegs out to really get to it.

Quality kegerator
First off. The kegerator will absolutely accommodate a 1/2 barrel of beer with a 5lb co2 inside. You will however need an elbow for your coupler on the beer side if you are using ball locks. There is not enough height otherwise. It seems to hold a consistent temperature and the appearance is nice. I do not like how the tower is flimsy. It bolts to the plastic top of the fridge. Also, I had to insulate the tower because of excessive condensation. The insulation can be accomplished by using the foam packing materials used to ship the unit. I purchased the twin faucet tower and I think I was short changed a Duotight fitting for the air side of my coupler. I only have enough for one keg. I need another Duotight fitting for air side of the coupler in order to use the second keg. It must have been overlooked when the unit shipped. Overall, the Intertap faucets and the unit itself is a good value, it will cost more money if you were to buy a cheaper unit and add the upgrades.

Love the Convenience
It sure is nice to have a tasty brew on tap whenever I want one. This unit looks great and was fairly simple to set up. I have my temperature set at 37 degrees and it seems to hold between 34 and 38. Right out of the box, the tower fan was very noisy. I realized that the fan blade was hitting a wiring bundle behind it. I reached behind the fan and pushed the wiring to the back of the unit. Now, aside from a noisy compressor and the random vibration now and again, the unit is fairly quiet and it looks great. Hopefully it will give me years of tasty beers.

Nice kegerator
Shipping was quick and it arrived a day sooner that expected. It was packed very well and had no shipping damage. There actually was no instructions or any literature at all. Luckily it’s pretty self explanatory and there is a link at morebeer to download the PDF. Setup was easy. I did purchase the Duotight fittings for my ball lock fittings to complete a clampless setup. These lines are such an improvement over old vinyl lines. For those giving the lines a bad review, it’s because they are trying to fit them over a hose barb and clamp them. These are not made for that kind of connection. They are made for the Duotight quick connect. All three of my beer lines are just under 6’. At 12psi, I’m getting a perfect pour at about 300ml per 10 seconds. The tower mounts with 4 screws. It doesn’t seem as solid as I would like but it’s fine for the price. I live in humid East Texas on the Louisiana border. The cap on the tower does collect a lot of condensation due to the tower cooler. I’m going to find a small layer of insulation to see if it helps. The fridg itself looks nice but it’s the reason I give 4 stars over 5. I have 3 other refrigerators and it’s by far the noisiest of them all. It’s not the fan but it sometimes makes a weird grumbling sound. Doesn’t really bother me but drives my wife nuts. Enough where she might make me move it to another room. I did buy the springs for my three faucets. I have 2 Bengal cats in the house. If they were to get on the kegerator and open a faucet, it would run until all my beer and CO2 were gone. At $1.99 per spring, well worth it! Over all I’m happy with the unit and would recommend to anyone.

Really high quality.
Being a homebrewer for 20+ years, I've made my fair share of kegerator/keezer conversions. We ordered this model to use in our office and this thing is fantastic. it's well built, designed to do what we're asking it to, and looks really smart. I'm an attorney working with beer and brewers for a living. When someone comes to my office and I pour them a pint, this kegerator looks the part. Highly recommend.

Very nice kegerator
This is my second kegerator that I have and it is much better than the first one (which is another brand).
I really like the digital display and the ability to adjust the temperature from the front. My other one adjusts in the back at the floor and has no temperature display. So it can be an adjust, check, adjust, check ordeal.
It is really quiet. That is good since it is in my kitchen.

I waited too long to buy this!
After a great deal of research this is the one. Great bang for the buck. Looks great. If you watch the video, anyone can assemble this, but do pay attention. Easily fits 3 corny kegs and my CO2 cylinder with the regulator attached inside. Temp varies about 4 degrees....as other reviews note. Added the springs to the taps to prevent accidents. I did use larger diameter CO2 lines but may switch back to provided as it will clean up the inside a bit and they are more flexible. Honestly. Why the heck did i bottle for so long? You could spend a lot more, but why? If you thinking of making your own and can squeeze the few extra bucks......it looks pretty darn good as a full package product.
