do these have internal shutoffs?
Zack urdzela on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No... if you were to disconnect while CO2 (or whatever you’re using in your lines) was flowing, it would just keep flowing out through the QD. Just turn off the valve at the source (CO2 regulator, in my case)...

OK
They are cheaper option than SS. Once they get hot they can be a problem to disconnect.

They make life easy. Fast changeover to different tools when you can disconnect one tool in winemaking and connect another.

THE way to connect small diameter lines!!
I use the male/female combo Kent fittings for any of my 3/8 tubing connections that will be repeated worked. The locking action is unmistakable and they DO NOT leak ever. The o-rings have remained like new through dozens of connects. I use them primarily to connect my cooling lines to my fermenters and they work perfectly!

Quick and not dirty!
love these things, but the high temps and star-san take their toll on the rubber gaskets. Need a source for replacing them.
