Could this be used for serving on the liquid side of a keg? I need to convert from 1/2" down to 3/8". Do they come in stainless steel?

BEST ANSWER: We do not recommend using brass to dispense beer. What type of keg are we working with? We do have a stainless steel fitting that is 1/2" threaded and 3/8" barbed (H616) if you are going from the keg into tubing. If you are using a sanke keg we do have a 3/8" tailpiece (D1735 or D1737) that would connect with a hexnut (D1740) and gasket (D1755). We could get even more complicated with it and use a compression fitting (H624A) which threads in and the other side clamps onto a rigid tubing, usually copper or stainless. Hopefully one of these solutions works or gives you some ideas. Otherwise we will keep helping you search once we know what type of keg and faucet we're connecting.
