This shank's small design makes it perfect for attaching a faucet to a tower.  Included on the Intertap towers that we stock but can be used to replace the short shank on any 3" diameter tower. Made from stainless steel. 

Please note these shanks are not compatible with Perlick brand faucets.

Can this be used with a 2" shank in a draft tower? The current shanks are the Intertap ones with permanent 90 degree barbs and I am hoping to convert entirely to the Duotight fittings.

BEST ANSWER: The threads on the 2'' shank are 5/8'' BSP threads so the DUO104 unfortunately will not be compatible. However, we will be offering the short tower shanks that have Duotight compatible barbs very soon!
Will this shank work with Perlick faucets?

BEST ANSWER: Perlick and InterTap are no longer compatible. They have changed their manufacturing process to differentiate from each other.
I will be adding this to an existing tower. What size hole will be needed to install this correctly. Will 13/16 work?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Chris - The OD of the shank is 1.25".
Is this completely stainless steel? The item in some photos is stamped PC which in many cases indicates plated with chrome.

BEST ANSWER: The trim ring that gives the angle for mounting to a column is plated The rest of it is stainless from my recollection
Are the "Threads" on this also Stainless Steel? Will they have a "Galling" issue on Stainless Faucets?

BEST ANSWER: Ive used for about a year now and no signs of rust or issues with connecting to a stainless faucet. Definitely worth going stainless on these. Used to get the “chrome” plated ones and they would wear out and tarnish.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. This fits standard single, double, and triple tap towers which are typically between 2”-3” in diameter.

I bought 2 of these in January 2020. They have fit my Perlick 630ss faucets perfectly for the 2 years I have used them. This cannot speak for the newer shanks made past 2020 but at this time, they fit perfectly.

Exactly what you need to add an extra faucet to your kegerator beer tower when you don’t have a lot of room to play with inside the tower.
This is ideal for adding an extra faucet to your beer tower. I had a 2.5” single faucet tower and there isn’t a lot of room inside the tower to add another faucet. You need this angled elbow faucet shank to do this. You’ll also need a 3/8” pinch clamp to connect the beer line to this shank, hose clamps are too bulky.

Needed it for the Intertap spring
High quality, but it did require me to Dremel the hole in my new 2 tap tower. That was a surprise. I bought two of these and will be retrofitting the other tap when I change kegs. Curious to see if I need to enlarge that hole as well.

This is a very well made product.
This is an excellent product for the price. My plan was to add 2 taps on my tower but I didn’t realize my tower was 2-1/2” diameter. I wasn’t able to fit 2 in it, so now I have a spare.

It’s nice. Could be better.
The shank itself is great and quality is great. What I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t come with the shank spacer that goes behind it inside the keg tower. The plastic piece that is shown in the photo does not fit behind the curvature of the l
Keg tower which pretty much renders that piece unusable. I had to fabricate my own piece to make it work. Not happy about that.
