  • 25 Feet of 3/8" Copper

  • Integrated Turbulator
  • Cools Faster and Uses 40% Less Water
  • 25 Feet of 3/8" Copper

  • Manufactured in the USA

Save water during the cooling process with our Super Efficient Immersion Wort Chiller. During the manufacturing process we build in an inner water turbulator that causes the cold water to spin through the coil. This reduces the laminar flow found in a standard wort chiller where only the outer water is cooled as it travels through the coil. The result is a 40% reduction in water, and faster cooling, when compared with our standard chillers.  But that is when we compare it to OUR standard chillers with the coils at the top. When you compare to other chillers on the market the results are even better.

ALL of our chillers feature coils that raised up to where the heat is.  As we learned in school heat rises so when other wort chillers have all the coils on the bottom they actually never cool unless you stir your wort. The problem with stirring is that you mix up all your trub/sediment and you risk airborne contamination... neither of which is good. Our chillers cool fast and allow you to keep your lid on your kettle during the critical cooling period.

Constructed from 25' of 3/8'' copper tubing. 8' of vinyl tubing attached to both the in and the out with a female garden hose fitting on the in side. Use our CE21S hose thread adaptor to attach to your sink. Perfect for a kitchen environment where the sink is close by.

This size chiller is ideal for our 8 Gallon Heavy Duty Kettles!

The measurements are: Approx. 10" diameter, 8" to the top coil, 15" to the bend to go over the lip of the kettle.

i hope the efficiency aspect is true. My current chiller leaked into my wort on prior occasion.

This stage in beer making is probably the most crucial, and it has to happen quickly! This wort chiller will definitely help with that (no more ice baths...)

Turns into a normal Chiller on First use
On first use, the water pushed strip of plastic that causes the increased turbulence right out. Turns it into a normal wort chiller, so it still works... just not worth paying extra for

Defective
The plastic insert that makes this unit "efficient" came out of the output hose during its first use.

Living in the LA area. I feel guilty about the the amount of water this uses. Think I will go back to an ice bath in the kitchen sink.

Efficient Chiller
Does a great job of cooling wort down to acceptable pitch temperatures (approx 74 deg F), fairly quickly - provided the water going in is fairly cold. During the winter months there is no problem, I am able to cool 5 gallons down in about 20 min. In the summer, here in Texas, I have to use a prechiller, that is sitting in a cooler of ice water and even then it takes a bit longer (25 min) and the temp will only get down to about 78 deg. HIghly recommended, just be aware of your input water temperature.

Work fine
I've had this for so long, forgot where I got it from till I looked at my Product Info page. After 5 years, I might replace the hoses but other than that, works great for the 5 gallon batches. I just bought a 15 gallon kettle for double batches and I'm guessing this is going to struggle to cool that down.

Works Great for a 1st Timer
It serves us well, chills our wort, and allows us to make beer in 2 hours instead of 5 hours. Well worth it! If we ever get our own place and can upgrade all of our equipment, we might upgrade the chiller (and get a bigger brew pot) but again, this totally serves us well for what we need.

Chill chiller
Works perfect, can cool 5 gallons of wort in about 15min. Did need to tighten the clamps a bit after first 2 or 3 uses.

Good chiller. Not very sturdy.
Out of the box it was great! But it appears to be losing flow rate after 2 years. The flat plastic thread (proprietary water turbulation) running inside the coil appears to be bunching and slowing down the works, making it lose efficiency. Hose clamps need constant readjustment. Losing shape (it is copper after all).

Works
This chiller has served me well and has significantly decreased the chilling process. However, as another brewer mentioned, the clamps leaked a bit. Once I replaced them, it worked like a dream!

Speed up your cold break!
I have used this chiller four times now and it does a great job of getting your wort temp down fast! It's well made and easy to use...well worth the investment if you're going to do a full five gallon boil!
