No more ICE BATH!!
This thing has gotten a lot of use and we're glad we bought it. Developed a recirculation system and cut back on water usage as well as shorter cooling times. Still working great, 3 years in!

Great Chiller when Coupled with Recirc Arm
Bought this chiller after reading about Jamil's Whirlpool Immersion chiller and the effects it had on both chilling time and hop character. Works great with chilling speed, especially with cold, winter tap water temps and really has brought out the hop flavor in my beers. During summer months, I use my old 25' immersion chiller as a pre-chiller in a bucket of ice and have 6.0 gallons of wort from boiling to pitching temp in about 8 minutes.

This is Awesome!
I just got my chiller yesterday in the mail, I plan on using it with my 50L Braumeister.
You can tell this thing is quality, I mean high quality. Is heavy, sturdy, and is designed for even taller brew pots. The brass fittings are nice, now i can route my water into my brew room and back out, no more buckets of ice water!

Cut my chilling time in half
This chiller has saved me a ton of time on my brewday, essentially cutting my chilling time in half. I've used this for mostly 5 gallon batches, but it's worked great for the larger batches I've done as well. After I'm done using it, a quick scrub with some PBW or Oxyclean and it's back to looking new. It's worth the time savings to get this size immersion chiller versus a smaller one.

Super Chiller for 10 Gal Batches
Super product. Very well done! I suggest using something smaller for 5-6 gal batches, but this one works awesome for 8 to 10 gal batches (that's the largest I do). I use a pre-chiller (my old immersion chiller) in an Igloo cooler with ice and get my wort down to pitching temp in about 12 min (Texas). I use it in my keggle and it works fine. I placed quick disconnects on the chiller and I added a wort recirculation tube (bought one from MB and made one (the one I'm using). I suggest recirculating if you can justify the extra pump (you can, it's nice to have a back-up just in case my RIMS pump dies). Oh, also be sure to pre-boil/rinse with PBW (boil), then rinse with boiling water to make sure any oil residue is gone from the bending process. FB

Well made and amazing quailty
This was my first purchase before stepping up to 10 gallon batches and it does wonders on cooling down the large volume. I have been using it for almost two years now and the only suggestion I have for when you use it is to make sure you have something that allows you to restrict the flow of the exiting water. After going full speed for the first ten minutes you will want to restrict the exiting water so that is has more contact time to chill the wort more efficiantly. When ground water temps get high I put my old 25 ft chiller in an ice bath as a pre chiller. Works like a charm.

Great for 10+ gallon batches
I have both 14.4 gallon and 26 gallon boil kettles for different batch sizes, this works good in both kettles.
When I'm done using it I soak it in PBW for 5 minutes then rinse. After that a quick soak in Star San brightens it back up and then I blow the water from inside of it out with a air compressor to keep all that stale water from sitting in there between batches.
