Hop Hash - Lupulin Gland Powder
Please select from the following option(s) to see pricing and availability.

Because of its concentrated form, hop hash gets better utilization than pellet and whole hops but loses some herbal and grassy characteristics. Recommended as a late/whirlpool addition (0.5 oz-2 oz for hoppy beers). Also great as a dry hop (1 oz - 4 oz for hoppy to incredibly hoppy beers).

Due to extemely tight supply, this may be any variety of hops. We strive to acquire the most pungent and aromatic hash available.

I brewed 5gal for an experimental IPA, 2,5 gal was dry hopped with this, 2.5 gal was dry hopped with Citra cryo hop. I keg hopped the hop hash in a nylon bag. The hop hash has a lot of particulate that is very bitter. You’ve got to wait a while for everything to settle out. Also the hop hash does not have quite the flavor of actual hops. I think the process itself degraded the hops flavors, probably oxidation, after all this is literally the crap left inside the hop machines. I’d still recommend trying it, I’d recomment flame out or whirlpool so that the bitter particulate has time to fall out. I don’t think it’s worth the price I paid, though I knew I was paying an inflated price just to say I tried it.
