Description

The standard plastic handheld faucet modified for use with Duotight fittings and EVABarrier draft tubing. The 6.35mm end piece can be paired with the 8mm x 6.35mm Duotight reducer to use with 8mm OD EVABarrier tubing.

Commonly called a "cobra tap" or "picnic faucet".

Duotight fitting sold separately.

Good Picnic Tap
This makes a nice and cost effective EVAbarrier tubing based Picnic tap.

You need additional parts
I bought this thinking it would connect directly to tubing. However, there is an additional connector needed in order to use this picnic tap with the tubing. Giving 3 stars due to to the fact it wasn't noted at time of purchase. Otherwise, it looks to be a good piece of equip.

Great for duotight convenience but leaks :(
Like others have said, they do leak. It’s leaking between the picnic tap and the duotight fitting. It won’t leak as much if you hold only the tap, but you can’t give instruction to everyone enjoying your beverage.

Leaks during use.
Leaks at the duotight connection with the slightest bend. This is a problem with when you are trying to use picnic tap.

Leaks
I bought these because I like the hard tubing and was hopeful these would work well. I've replaced two of my older picnic taps with this setup and they both leak at this connection point. Not sure if it's the tap connection or the fitting between. Pretty sure both ends are leaking, and I make sure they are firmly inserted on both sides. Also of note, this price only includes the tap, you need Duotight fitting (#DUO100) to connect these to your tubing (I didn't realize that till after these arrived).
