        It's a well-made thing

This is exactly what it looks like. The tolerance is totally acceptable, and it's a well-made piece of glasswork. Do you need such a cylinder, for doling out yeast, say? Go for this bad boy(Though for acids, I'd recommend the plastic syringes, and the 50mL Cylinder is also very handy)

        Perfect size.

This is a great size. It allows me to calibrate how accurate my measuring cups are and it doubles as a hydrometer test jar. Mine did not come with a plastic slide as shown it the photo, but I would not be using that anyway.

        Doesn't work for finishing gravity.

This graduated cylinder doesn't workout for finishing gravity with a triple scale hydrometer. The hydrometer bottoms out at the gravity 1.015 or so. If you're ok with not knowing your correct finishing gravity, then this is for you. I will have to search around for a grad cylinder that the hydrometer won't bottom out on.

        Handy for blending/testing additions

When you want a precise measurement for blending or sugar, KMBS, or acid additions these graduated cylinders are the ticket. Clear markings make it easy to get the precise measurements you're after. A quality product that I use every year in my wine-making process.
