Small and handy
This a great little tool for drawing small samples when I'm making one-gallon batches. It is a little fragile but no more so than a hydrometer.

It'll do.
It's fine. I just didn't think it would take seven pulls to get the necessary 250ml and leak all over the desk from my tiny, girly hands. I'll just have to wait until it pisses me off enough before I spend $90 on a rubber bulb wine thief.

Good little device
Good device for taking small wine samples for analytical work. it's a nice alternative to a larger wine thief that is more suitable for larger volume tastings but those are a bit clumsy when only tiny samples are needed. This little glass thief is better for those small volume applications. Have to be careful not to break the tip end when putting into any hard vessel for storage, but that is not a complaint only an obvious condition for a fragile glass device.

Glass Wine Thief A must have.
Excellent piece of equipment for any wine maker or distiller. Don't like plastic so glass is much cleaner and this works well.

Works great! Wish it was plastic though..
I love this thing, it's very lightweight and works great. I'm worried about how fragile it is though, I'm 99% sure I'm going to shatter it with my inelegant over-caffeinated hands sooner than later though. This exact shape but hard plastic would be great.
