Description

Glass demijohns are great containers for wine, vinegar, kombucha, and many other beverages. They have a classic teardrop shape and a plastic protective basket. Narrow mouth demijohns are excellent for fermenting and storing wines, or other products where you do not need to get into the container.

Use a #9.5 stopper for the narrow mouth 9 gallon demijohn. 

All demijohns include the glass demijohn, plastic basket with removable top, and plastic dust cover.

Will the size 10 universal stopper work on this?

BEST ANSWER: The number 10 universal stopper may fit in this demijohn, but as the material of that stopper is fairly rigid you may have to add a small amount of lubrication and twist it in to place to get it in and seal tightly. Our #9.5 stopper has a steeper taper to it and is a softer material so it is easier to seal.
