What is the diastatic power & lovibond of this malt?

I make a blonde ale with ginger lime and by adding honey to the secondary.I use the honey specifically for flavor. I want to try replacing the honey with this malt. How much of this honey malt will give a noticeable honey flavor and aroma in a 5 gallon batch?

BEST ANSWER: I taste the grain every time just before I mill it. I’ve never gotten honey specially nor in the beer. To my palate it’s more like a sweeter grape nuts cereal. I do love it. I find Gambrinus is more malty and the Briess is more crystal sweet. Briess may be what you are looking for. I’ve used 5% Gambrinus hm in lighter flavored beers. Too much almost comes across more like sweet Munich than honey.

Why Not?
I don't have a recipe for this but with homebrewing you can't go wrong. What is the worst thing that is going to happen? Slightly different beer? I love to try new stuff and that is what this is for me. Next!!

nice steeping grain
but not so sure how well they milled it for me... saw a lot of whole grains in my bag. imparted a faint honey aroma, which is what i wanted.

good malt
If you do mostly malt extract brewing then you can't go wrong in using this malt, it smells like honey and it has a nice but not over powering flavor like the heavier colored malts. I also noticed that it gave my beer a sweeter smell but not much on the taste. Definitely one of my top favorites its a must try!

Honey Malt
I use this in my IPA to get an additional nutty flavor along with the hoppiness of an IPA. It is a great addition in a partial mash.
