Great for draining your brew bag
When you take your brew bag out of your kettle, you can rest it in this funnel and have it sit on top of a 7 gallon bucket. Then you can drain your bag without worrying about liquid splashing all over your kitchen. I used to use a colander but it would leak around the edges of the bucket.

Never saw the inside
There is a ridge on the inside. Had we known this, we would have never ordered. It's smooth on the outside, and we figured it would be smooth on the inside.

It's just become very expensive recycled plastic.

Great funnel for Maltzilla
The maltzilla needs a funnel and this funnel is HUGE but works great. You will need to cut the stem to about 2.5" in order to make a snug fit for the Maltzilla but it holds firm and works great.

If you're just looking for a VERY large filter for other purposes, I'm sure this will work well. The plastic is thick and seems to be reinforced.
