I doubled the dose, using 2 vials for a 5 gallon batch but most people don't distinguish pineapple as a flavor when tasting the beer. When I ask them if they can taste it, the response is "oh, yeah, I can kinda get that."

It's more like an essence of pineapple which I should have realized from such a small amount. To get real fruit flavor, one would probably have to use real fruit or a puree.

There's nothing wrong with the product per se, it just didn't line up with my expectations, so I would not purchase it again.

Very Good Flavoring.

A 1/2 oz. bottle will give you a slight hint of pineapple in a five gallon batch. I think 1 oz. would be nice if you really want the fruit to stand out over the beer flavor. Personally not a huge fan of "fruity beers" so the 1/2 oz for me was about perfect.
