Flash Brewing™ Kits
Introducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing™ Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.

Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing™ eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing™ malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.

Equipment Required for Flash Brewing™
Flash Brews can be fermented in any wide mouth 6 or 7-gallon fermenter you already own. We suggest a wide mouth fermenter so you can easily pour in the ingredients. The 7-gallon Fermonster fermenter is a perfect choice. If you are new to brewing and need a fermentation kit, click here.

I;m no beer snob but I can taste the difference
This was the second Flash Brew kit I tried. I'm just a humble extract brewer but for me and my friends, it was a miss. Also, this tastes nothing like a pale ale. It was worth a try, I'll stick to what has worked best for me in the past.

Nice Beer - Minimum Effor
This beer turned out great. I've been brewing for around a decade with 95% of that being all grain. I gave this kit a try after not brewing for several months due to too many activities. The short brew day allowed me to make a nice beer that I could fill my kegerator with in short order. I would recommend this kit to those who are starting out or someone who doesn't have time to brew a traditional batch. I would recommend stirring in the malt extract while adding it in but otherwise everything else went great.

Makes a very drinkable beer
I agree with the previous review by Joad B. I, too, am a long-time all-grain and previous extract kit brewer and also a BJCP Certified judge. While I doubt the finished beer would win any home-brew competitions for a Pale Ale category beer, it comes across as a clean, drinkable ale. Overall, it is a pretty clean fermentation in terms of the yeast profile. Comes across like some of the Kveik yeast batches I have done that seem to have some of the hop aroma and flavor scrubbed out due to quick ferment. Like previous reviewer, I stirred when mixing up the batch to get all the dried malt extract mixed up. Mine started at 75F (ambient temp), was fermenting within 30 min., and ramped up within a day to 81F. Finished at 1.008 in 5 days. The yeast is slow to flocculate. I racked it into secondary and will let it sit another week. Kegged up small 1/2 gal. amount for tasting and it seems pretty clean and drinkable. If I make this recipe again, I may add some additional Cryo hops as well as making a water-based hop tea to try to add some additional flavor, aroma, and bittering, as it doesn't seem like a 30 IBU beer as advertised using the hop-shot extract provided. But as for brewing during the heat of the summer, the sweat savings, time savings, energy savings, and clean-up savings compared to a full all-grain brew day make this worth it to have a kegged batch on hand for some easy summer drinking. I will be trying some other varieties soon. Price is still a bargain compared to buying equivalent quantities of 6-packs of craft brew!

Very Nice Beer
I typically brew all grain, but been busy for the last few months and had not had a chance to brew so I was all out of homebrew. As soon as I saw these kits being offered I got a couple of them to try it out and get my keezer stocked up again.
"Brew" day for the Cali Mountain Pale Ale was a breeze not having to do a mash and boil, although I did end up stirring the flash malt as I noticed it was clumped up. Maybe I didn't need to and the fermentation activity would have taken care of it, but I did anyways (with a sanitized mixing paddle).
Fermentation was quick, I cold crashed and kegged at about day 10. I just started pouring (day 12) and I must say it's a pretty decent beer considering the "Flash" process. Yes it's still an extract, so I wasn't expecting this to blow me away, but it certainly meets expectations, I'm happy with it. This will not replace my all grain brewing, but I can see myself picking up one of these from them to time if I get busy and can't do a full brew day. With this beer only being at 12 days "grain" to glass, I would expect that it will round it to an even better tasting beer in a few more days, but I'm happy as is.
