Flaked Barley produces lighter color in the final beer without lowering final gravity. Adds protein for body and head retention. Used especially for stouts. Flaked barley must be mashed with base malt.

Seems fresh!
Flaked barley that seems pretty fresh smells great and added good head retention to my beer.

Flaked Barley in everything!
I use flaked barley in most all of my recipes. If I do not I use carapils for the mouth feel. I think this is a great barley to have around the brewhouse.

Performed as I wanted
I normally add flaked barley when I brew. I enjoy the body it adds to my beers and the head retention that it adds.

I like it.
I wish I could use more sometimes. Yes it will cloud a beer, and yes it does not provide any fermentables, but I love what it does for body and flavor.
