FermZilla Collection Container | 34 oz | 1,000 mL

    Description

    If you're a FermZilla owner, we highly recommend picking up an additional collection container or two. Use one to harvest and store your yeast, and then a second for your dry hop additions. Or harvest and store multiple yeast cultures in multiple collection containers.

    The collection container features threaded ports that are compatible with the KG500 Ball Lock Cap. Attaching the ball lock cap will allow you to purge the container of oxygen before dry hopping. Or attach a small length of tubing with a diffusion stone and you'll be able to oxygenate your wort or carbonate your finished beer from the bottom up.

    The container is made from Tritan and the lid from HDPE.

        Great utility, but use with caution

        These will break under the following conditions...-You tighten or unscrew it by grabbing onto the ports-You tighten a plastic ball lock fitting, or any of the wedge seal fittings, and then pour hot liquid into itI know Kegland wants to move away from the BPA, but in this case, I wish I just had a polycarbonate version of this. I have to say though, the design and utility of this thing is really awesome for the price

        Cracked port.

        This new container works as it is supposed to but the only reason I needed it was because the original developed a crack in on of the threaded ports.

        good product if used correctley

        This is a good product if you use the tool to take it off, I tried using my hands to loosen and it cracked so use the tool to tighten and loosen.

        What is the maximum pressure to be able to use it and is it compatible with the brewbuild bottle?

        I run my spunding valve at 15psi with dump valve open to collection container. No idea on brewbuild bottle but you can connect ball lock fittings to collection container and then connect what you want
