The directions seem to call for a 20 minute boil. That correct?
William J on Mar 28, 2018

Great beer!
Kegged the 5 gallon batch a couple weeks ago and I'm REALLY enjoying it. I will definitely be making more. New Belgium ruined theirs by changing the recipe from Amber to a light Ale. Big thumbs down to them!

good stuff
I brewed it up, used 2 yeast packs sprinkled on top and only did one fermenter for about 2+ weeks, then bottled. Gave a couple away to co-workers, they were impressed with it also.
Definetly a due over.

Good but not my favorite
This extract kit was good but not great. A solid Amber Ale, but I brewed it twice and both times felt as though it was more inclined to expose the weaker elements of extract brewing than a number of other extract kits.
Don't get me wrong, both batches were consumed and doing so wasn't unpleasant....but I recommend the Pompous Ass kit over this kit if you are looking for a good Amber!

Very tasty easy drinking amber ale. The safale dry yeast does a fine job with finishing this one.
