If you're using the malt pipe with the 65L BrewZilla you can either move your ring up to the boiler extension, or buy an additional ring so you can remove the malt pipe in two steps.

Great accessory for 15 plus gallon brews
I recently used the extended Malt pipe to make a portion of a group brew of Russian Imperial Stout for a Bourbon Barrel. I was making about 15 gallons of the 60 gallons we were brewing writ large. This worked great to hold the 44 pounds of grain for my mash, and it could have held more grain. I also used the brewzilla extension, two actually with the retain frame in the lower of the two. (see my 6.3 gallon Brewzilla extension review for more information.)

A Godsend for any 65L 3.1 Users
I got my Brewzilla 65L 3.1 in summer 2019, and have brewed on it at least 80 times--maybe more like 100. A well-known design challenge with this model is the grain capacity--it doesn't let you reasonably mash in more than 30ish lbs without experiencing overflows, sticky mashes, or really low/inconsistent yields. I'm grateful that a company like KegLand cares for its scores of 3.1 users, and offered the Extended Malt Pipe and the Boiler Extension Kit (required!!) instead of upselling its customers on the 4.0 models. This has extended the life of my unit indefinitely. My first brew with it was a 12G batch of a Hazy IPA--hit the numbers on the nose. It was fabulous.

The only beef I have is that this dramatically increased the weight of the filled malt pipe. The "steps" make it somewhat more convenient to gradually lift it out of the boil unit, but this is still really heavy--you need a friend any/or a pulley system for sure.
