Well designed. Seemingly accurate and consistent. Great for grain and hops. After a few months I now find the 55lb weight max to be too limiting for my use. I need about a 70 weight limit to use for measuring water, fermenter vols and keg volumes. So does the perfect scale exist? I don't m ow I'm still looking for it!

I use it to measure my malts hops and when filling corny kegs but sadly isn’t precise enough for brewing salts.

This scale works great for my needs mostly used for weighing DME for starters and my hops for brewing.

So far so good. Used the rare function with a variety of containers - sizes and weights. Very extensive weight range.

I like this scale. In addition to weighing out grain I use it for yard projects because it will weigh up to 55 lbs. My first one pretty much wore out so this is my second one. The best I can figure I had the fist one more than 6 years.

Quite an impressive scale for the money. Heavy duty construction and very accurate right out of the box. No calibration was needed after testing. Used for weighing hops and rains and found it to be spot with both small and large amounts. Removable front panel is nice if you are going to weigh large items like 50lb grain sacks. Backlight with large display is easy to read even for us older vision impaired brewers. I would recommend this scale over some of the more expensive scales out there.

The first unit I received didn't function properly out of the box. The unit button would only switch from the default oz. to lb. oz. then it would read large negative numbers and pressing any other button would power the unit off. The rest of the time the display would show gibberish as "numbers" (pretty sure it was aliens) show all of the units as "active" and didn't function at all as a scale. MoreBeer's customer service was great though! As soon as I told them about the issue they promptly shipped a replacement unit out free of charge. The replacement works perfectly as advertised. The reviews of this scale seem pretty positive so maybe mine was the anomaly. The size of the weighing platform is great for being able to measure out grains in a large enough container. The working unit is great for the price and I've had no issues with it.

Love the option to plug in or use batteries. Seems very accurate and has multiple weigh options (Lbs grams oz etc). Would highly recommend. I can weigh grain and hops!

I keep this next to my bulk grain storage so weigh out what I need for my grain bill. Weigh the indivual ingrediants and put in a 5gal pail the day before brew day. I do wish the auto shut off timer was a little longer.
