Description

pH56 is a pocket pH meter with a lot of features. It has a resolution of 0.01 pH, a range of -2.00 to 16.00 pH, and an accuracy of 0.05 pH. It also reads temperature from 23.0 degrees F to 140 degrees F (-5.0-60 C), and has automatic temperature compensation. The unit is completely waterproof.

The pH56 has a stability indicator and hold function that freezes the display for easy and accurate recording. The large display also has graphic symbols to guide you through the operations. Calibration is made automatically in 1 or 2 points with memorized standard and NIST buffer sets. Auto power off saves battery power after non-use. The double-junction electrode can be replaced in a very fast and simple way! The modular design allows easy electrode and battery replacement.

Hard to set up and figure out how to use.

The instructions to calibrate are confusing and don’t make sense. Product also wouldn’t calibrate to 4.01 and giving WRNG code. Called the phone number and person at Milwaukee said it was probably my fault and I should watch video. Told them I went to web address listed in instructions and nothing was there. He said I needed to go to YouTube instead, so instructions provided with unit are outdated. Watched YouTube video and no information about what to when getting WRNG indication. Why this isn’t pre-calibrated is unknown. Am going to send back and look for an easier unit for layman is use..

There are contradictory statements in morebeer and Milwaukee instructions about how to store unit as well.

Not impressed at all.

I was excited for this meter but it wouldn’t calibrate at the 4.01. Called more beer and the company that made it and with their advice it still wouldn’t calibrate. Also to get the calibrate mode to work is kind of tricky.
