Description

Connect two ball lock homebrewing kegs together via their ball lock our fittings. Handing for moving sanitizer or beer from one keg to the next. We often use this fitting when we have a big party where we dixie chain kegs together.  For example if you made 10 gallons of pale ale you can use this jumper to connect the two kegs so that all 10 gallons can pour at once.

Confused about this thing. if I hook it up to 2 kegs while they are still closed won't it just equalize pressure and stop? wouldn't this need a gas line ball lock as one end?
BRIAN MARRANZINI on Oct 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: All you need to do is attach a valve to a ball lock on the gas side of the cony and vent the pressure slowly as the tank fills. Works very well. I always have the tank I am emptying hooked up to a Co2 tank with the pressure set around 10 - 15 psi. I let the new tank fill until the liquid stops flowing then I open the valve on the gas side of the filling tank and start venting slowly, when this happens the liquid will start flowing again. if you have your empty tank on a scale you will see when it is full without having to lift it.
What sized tubing is used on this? Would 1/4 tubing work if I wanted to use longer tubing?
Michael E. Brown on Jun 2, 2021
BEST ANSWER: The line itself seems to be just a bit thicker than regular picnic tap line, but the fittings on the ends are the same as the liquid out end of a ball lock picnic tap. 1/4" line should work fine with the fittings that come with it.

This jumper is great. I sanitized 3 kegs using the same amount of solution as it took for one. It is not a fast process, but it is effective.

Worked perfectly.
Legit. Worked well. I put it between two torpedo legs and did a closed keg transfer.

It looks good but is VERY SHORT
I wanted to go between a Fermenter to a keg. This line is too damn short. It may be 7-8 inches tops. That includes the fittings. From this fermenter https://www.morebeer.com/products/kegmenter-fermentation-keg-76-gal.html, it is worthless as purchased.

Worked great!
Worked perfectly to transfer from my secondary keg to the serving keg. I started slow (3psi) but got impatient and turned it up to 7 psi for a faster transfer. Easy to use, easy to clean and an excellent way to prevent oxygenation of my beer.

Hose is quite short between fittings
This will work fine if going from a corny keg to another corny keg. If you are wanting to go from a fermentasaurs to corny keg you’ll find it’s too short.

Great for keg fermenting
I recently started fermenting in 5G Corney kegs and this is great for transferring from primary to the serving keg. I like the short tube so not as much beer is left in the line. I also have a longer set-up for transferring from one chest freezer to another. They each have their place. This one is great because it has the couplings so cleanup and sanitizing is simple.
