Anyone knows if this issue of poor quality gasket is solved in new one´s?
BEST ANSWER: I have used the gasket successfully for dozens of batches after the two ends separated. Just try to get a little pressure on the seam by stretching the rubber in that direction, clamp down well, and you should be fine.

Poor Quality Gasket
After one brew, the gasket broke under considerably little pressure, poor quality. Disappointing despite the conical is great.

Same problem as everyone else ...
These fermenters aren't cheap, and this gasket reflects poorly on an otherwise excellent piece of equipment. Seems to me that a retrofit gasket should be designed and made available to everyone who has bought one of these fermenters... I wonder if the Blichmann models have this problem?

Another gasket bites the dust
I just pulled out the spare, these things just don't last. The glued connection fails again. Love the fermenter, hate the gasket
Falls apart easily
As with the other reviewers, this fell apart after a couple batches, and I have had very poor luck fixing this since.

Same Problem
This gasket is apparently GLUED together and after four batches, it came apart. I tried to repair it with a drop of super glue to no avail. Since I had 24 gallons of beer in process when it broke, I didn't give up, and finally, I was able to position it with the gap centered where the clamp comes together and tighten the clamp sufficiently to make it seal, but this gasket really should be one piece considering how expensive it is to replace. Is there any warranty on it?

Seal keeps tearing where it joins together. I can only get them too last around three batches. Also getting the conical to seal at the lid can be a struggle.
