Compact 2.5 lb size is perfect for mobile draft dispensing at BBQs and tailgate parties!

This brand new, 2.5 lb aluminum CO2 tank ships free in the 48 contigous states, and because it is made of aluminum rather than steel you can feel confident that it will never rust. It’s called a 2.5 lb tank because it holds 2.5 lb of compressed (liquified) CO2. 2.5 lb of CO2 is enough to dispense four 5 gallon kegs of homebrew.

All new CO2 tanks are shipped empty and will require either filling or exchanging for a full tank. Most local homebrew shops will stock gas to exchange, and many local welding supply companies can fill tanks on site.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can probably force carbonate a 5 gallon keg and serve it a few times depending on how many volumes of CO2 you need for your beer

I have not seen your vessel nor do I know anything about it, so it all depends on the ability of your 2.5 gal vessel to hold pressure and dispense your wheat smoothie at the same time! If it isn't able to maintain the pressure of 2.5 gals of beer, you'll have issues. Look it up on the manufacturers website or try force carbonation with water to check for leaks. Nice tank! Works great! Looks great!

I was a little concerned at first because the tank is made in China. No where in the description does it state its origin. I had no issue getting my tank filled locally. But be aware that some businesses will not deal with Chinese tanks.
I would have given 5 stars but the product pictures very carefully make sure to avoid the giant "Made in China" stamp. Otherwise a very nice tank.

Exactly what I needed.

I searched all over to find a 2.5lb tank at a good price. I am not using it for brewing, It is for my turbocharged racecar. Many racers use these tanks with their boost controller. This is the best price I found anywhere. Thank you so much.

Perfect for Soda Stream

Bought this after Soda Stream discontinued their larger tanks and I got tired of paying too much for the smaller tanks. Works well with a third party adapter hose for my Soda Stream machine.
