Description

Portable dispensing ability at a great price!

The CO2 Injector is a portable method of dispensing your kegs on the go. Now you don’t have to lug around your heavy, unbalanced CO2 tank. This hand held CO2 unit pushes out your beer using the included 16 gram CO2 cartridges (KEG955). This unit works with ball lock kegs. It uses from 2-5, 16g cartridges to push 5 gallons of beer. It will not work for carbonating your beer because of the small amount of CO2 in each cartridge. CO2 Injector has 1/4" female flare thread opening. Uses 16g Cartridges.

Does not come with quick disconnect.

Caution: The cartridges contain liquid CO2 that will dispense at over 600PSI. We suggest having the faucet open when pushing more CO2 into the keg. Also, do not push the inject lever when not hooked up to a keg as you will put over 600PSI into the quick disconnect and will blow the top threads off.
C02 Warning: Warning, this product is a gas that is under pressure. Please make sure that when in use the bottle remains in an upright position. Please use extreme caution when using.

Good portable Co2 injector
I used it several times now. For 19L keg I used 3-4 to push out all beer.
Note that cartridges used are special size at the top. Standard(European) 16g cartridges used in other devices cannot fit here.

Works great, much better than lugging around your CO2 tank
I got this CO2 injector mainly for bringing kegs to home-brew competitions. I used it yesterday for the first time and loved it. It works perfectly and only took 2 cartridges to dispense a full 5 gallons of beer!

Everyone else brought their big CO2 tanks along with regulators and air hoses. I simply popped the CO2 injector on and began pouring.

This thing is great, Every home brewer who kegs should have one of these!

Essential tools
These little gems are those that fit into the "why did I take so long?" category. I own 10 of them (as an event coordinator). They also work well in the fridge, where you can leave them attached to a previously carbonated keg for dispensing the beer. Make sure you use "food grade" CO2 (not ballistics grade, which sometimes has a lubricating oil for paintball guns). You will not regret this purchase.

Works great on 3 gallon kegs
If you use these on 5 gallon kegs you go through a couple cartridges so I only use it when I take a 3 gallon keg to a friends house

Great for picnics!
I have used this for several years and find it very helpful at cook outs and brewing festivals. It's a lot easier to tote around then a 5 pound CO2 bottle.
It's not complicated to use and works well with a 3 or 5 gallon portable keg setup in a cooler or numerous other options.
I used it last weekend on Big Brew day to keep 2, 5 gallon kegs going all day with just a few cartridges.

For as much as a 5 gallon Keg can be on the go
If you take a keg with you wherever that may be this is the quickest and easiest way to serve your beer or soda. Once you get used to knowing how much CO2 needs to be in the beverage and remember that this device should only be used to help push the beer out of the keg for serving then you should be all set.

I would highly recommend a picnic tap with this and not a tap that connects directly to the ball/pin lock. I found that using a lock/tap connection I went through the CO2 a little faster with this than I was hoping.

A bit finicky, but you can't beat the portability
It's takes a bit of experimenting to figure out the best way to apply the right amount of pressure, but it does provide the freedom to leave the CO2 tank and regulator at home.

Works OK
I keep mine for emergency beer dispensing in case my main tank blows.

Trigger very sensitive
I used this for a party and although it did keep the keg charged over the evening, it was not the easiest to regulate. The person manning the keg complained about either too much pressure or too little. The cartridges won't last for a full 5 gallon keg and I am considering the system that uses the paint ball cartridges.

Very compact, but requires a careful touch
The obvious benefit of this device is size and portability. It certainly does not contain enough CO2 to pressurize a keg, but can easily keep one that has already been during dispensing.

Although very affordable, I almost wish I had gone the miniature regulator route (which More Beer also sells). It is somewhat difficult to keep the pressure right with the extremely sensitive trigger on this device with the beer alternating between too much pressure and not enough.
