Would this work in Belgian bottles?
David Epley on Apr 23, 2022
BEST ANSWER: I think they would. The inside diameter of Belgian bottles, bombers and 12oz bottles only seems to fractionally smaller. I found that even in champagne bottles they are quite snug and are best inserted using a mallet to tap them in. I'm not sure however whether the rim/ring is deep enough on Belgian bottles to reliably secure a cage.
I've been waiting about a month for you to get these back in stock. Come on....... You have the 100 packs, how about repackaging them so I can get the 25 size?

Very Snug.
I just bottled my Saison with these. They were a great alternative to bottle caps because the champagne bottles I got as a gift had too wide of a neck for my bottle capper. They seem to be made of a really good plastic and intend on reusing them and just getting new cages. I think this is about on par with the cost of caps especially when a 750ml bottle is going to hold more than double a typical 12oz. The only issue I had was that I am a pretty skinny girl and pushing these in by hand were not an option. These actually went in with ease when I used a rubber mallet! Honestly, if these would've been easy to push in I would have been alarmed. I am really happy to have found an option that allowed me to use my champagne bottles without buying any additional equipment.
