Description

These are now available for pre-order! We'll be receiving the rhizomes and fulfilling orders as soon as they're available, which should be in early-mid April.

4.5-7% AA - Grows well in all climates. Aroma and bittering for pale ales.

Pleasant, floral and quite citrusy. Very distinctive and the most popular microbrew and homebrew hop for American ales.  Cascade is the great aroma hop for all American-style ales, known for its grapefruit, citrusy flavors and aromas.

Rhizomes should be planted immediately for best results. If your area is still experiencing frost then you can plant them in a planter indoors until it is safe to transplant outside. The first years crop will generally be smaller than subsequent years. Since these are live plants, we cannot guarantee they will grow, so we recommend buying two of each type to help ensure their success.

Click here for a PDF on proper treatment and care of hop rhizomes and plants.

Since the rhizomes are presale items, we ask that you do not place other items on your rhizome presale order.  Any additional items placed on rhizome presale orders will be split into their own order, and subject to additional shipping fees.

Shipping Restrictions:

Due to agricultural restrictions, we can only ship rhizomes to addresses that are in the United States, excepting Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and the counties of Bonner and Kootenai in Idaho. Unfortunately, we cannot ship these to international locations including APO/FPO addresses.

Prebook Item: Please note this item is not currently in stock, but is available for Pre-Order. We do require payment in full in order to reserve stock.

Rhizome
Ordered these in February, planted them according to the instructions. It is now June and no sign of life. When I called I was told that More Flavor would not do anything about the defective product they sold me. I have been a customer for quite a while but am rethinking that now.

Great Buy
Preordered these and they arrived two days after a shipment notification was sent. They spent a week in my fridge, then planted them. Three weeks later I have a 3 foot hop plant in my yard. Well done morebeer

surprise success
Picked one up at the end of the season and although it seemed like the leftover runt of the litter it sprouted fast and produced flowers in its first year.

Off to a great start.
Got it in the dirt the same day I received it in the mail. Two days later there was already popping up. Now, just a couple weeks in, it already looks like a real plant and it's started climbing like crazy. My only piece of advice is to give it something rough to climb on. I tried a bamboo stake at first and it had trouble holding on. Twine is the standard choice and that works great.
