Description

The Brew Hauler Carboy Carrier allows you to safely lift and transport glass carboys. Made of heavy, black, strong, nylon webbing that is stitched (very strong) to support the carboy when lifting. Fits 5, 6, and 6.5 gallon glass carboys. Straps are rated to lift 100 lbs.

Works for me!
I would recommend this product to people who have enough common sense to use it carefully by making sure that the straps are all in place and evenly distributed before lifting a full carboy.

I bought a hauler that was glued together with a hot melt glue gun...,it fell apart on the first use. Then I found “The Brewhauler” at more beer.com. Since then I have bought six...all are performing flawlessly??

Meh, feels like carboy could slip at any moment
Very difficult to get all the straps lined up evenly, they bunch up and look like the carboy is going to slip out. I would only use this for going up and down stairs. If not, go buy a $15 dolly from harbor freight instead.

Don't trust this product
Poor design allows straps to slip and carboy to slip through even when secured properly. The manufacturer gives no warning to this. After losing a carboy full of fresh wort (while using this product for the first time), I feel much more confident handling carboys with my bare hands than with this product.

I wouldn't use a carboy without one!
I purchased 4 of these at least 5 years ago! They have served me very, very well! I am not disappointed!

Last week, one of the buckles failed while securing it around a carboy. It failed at the hinge point for the clasp. No loss! The Carboy was not being "hoisted"!

I purchased new replacements from MB! The manufacture has changed the clasp design for the better! The new clasps are what is called, "side release clasps" instead of a hinge release which is similar to aircraft seat belts.

However, I was able to cheaply salvage my old Carboy Haulers by purchasing new "buckles" from a well known sports equipment supplier, cutting the old ones off & installing the superior replacement. (Cut the old plastic buckle members, NOT THE WEBBING! New ones have a screw pin which goes through the webbing loop.)

I found a way to make my investment of years ago last longer. I am VERY HAPPY!
