Improve the flavor and quality of your beer by filtering your water.
This 10" Carbon Block Filter removes chlorine, organic flavor and sediment from your tap water to 10 micron. Open the housing after use and store the filter dry to prevent algae from growing inside the housing. Designed to work with our filter housing or any other standard, 10" housing. Good for 750 gallons.
We’ve been told by manufacturers that chloramines can be removed by carbon filtration if the water has a long contact time with the carbon. It is recommended to use at a fill rate of less than 1 gallon per minute in order to remove chloramines.
NOTE: This product should not be used in hot water applications. Cold water only!

Affordable and Effective
I always filter my brewing water through this filter. Since I started doing so, I have noticed an improvement in the flavor of my beers. You can't beat the price, either!

Great water filter
A must have for filtering water. I use these for filtering water into my mash tun and my hot liquor tun.

Use it with every batch
I use this filter for every batch of beer I make. The water comes out tasting great and making wonderful beer. Low price makes changing filters more economical than buying jugs.

This is a must have item for brewing.
If you want to use your own tap water - you must have one of these in your setup. Period. Otherwise you will suffer the dreaded bandaid tasting beer...

Works great or chlorine
This filter does a great job removing chlorine from my tap water. I confirmed its results with my swimming pool test kit. Does the job and does it well.

Great Filter at a really good price.
I have been reordering this filter from more beer for the past 5 years. I try to get a new one once a year. I usually brew about 25 batches of beer over the course of the year and have had no complaints, this filter does the job. BUY IT!

I have had the same carbon filter for the past year and a half
I have done several batches of beer and mead by filtering out the chlorine in my drinking water. I have noticed a large improvement in the taste of my beer and mead since I have started filtering with this carbon filter. I have had the original for almost 2 years and thought it was about time I had to change it out. I highly recommend using this if you have chlorine in your water.
