Rye ales are a treat for those tired of hop heavy brews. I use 30-40% in my grain-bill to showcase its spicy notes

Poorly milled
This is my second purchase of rye from MoreBeer and in both cases it has been very poorly milled. I'd say only 25% to 33% of the grains have been cracked.

We'll use this Rye again
Very happy with my results adding just a touch of your Rye to my corn mash. Definitely took a little of the edge off.

delicious rye IPA
Used this in a rye IPA with outstanding results -- will brew it again! About 10% of the grain bill.

Great addition for interesting flavor
I use this up to 20% in my grist in lagers and ales. It is good to use rice hulls with it over 10% to avoid stuck mash.

I love rye
Rye is such a great grain. I love adding it to IPA's, Black IPA's, Pale Ales and Stouts. I find people get scared when you tell them it has rye in it but its such a great grain even at small percentages.
