Description

Trubinator is a product for use in your brewing system or boil kettle. During whirlpool, hops and other particles will gather in the middle of the filter, making it possible to pumpe more clean wort to your fermenter.

A single wingnut and bolt holds the filter in place, so it's easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Works well but not perfect
I was super excited for this product to minimize my loses, but the perforations on the screen are a bit too small and are clogged after 15 minutes of Recirculation/cold crashing. This leaves me with a full Trubinator worth of loss which is not all fallout but clear wort. One thing to note is that I am using this with a gas flamed kettle and not an electric kettle or brewtools unit.

I do enjoy its ability to trap most of the solids in the center and send more clear wort into my fermenter, but it is not as effective as I had hoped. Hopefully brewtools designs a new screen or multiple gauges for customers to choose from.
