What is the PPG or Yield for Brewer's Crystals? I'm trying to get it into my brewing software accurately.

BEST ANSWER: I found out about this product through a local brewery and asked them how they entered it into BeerSmith. He said they put in 100% attenuation, even though it's probably closer to 90-95, so that's what I did.
At what point in the brewing process do you add the sugar crystals and how much? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Robert! I'd suggest adding this towards the beginning of the boil if you want to develop deeper, richer malty flavors or towards the end of the boil if you're making a lighter colored beer and want it clean or crisp. We recommend adding 2 oz for every gallon of beer to increase ABV by .5%. Cheers!
