Upgrade your home brewery with an innovative, Stainless Steel, 7 Gallon Brew Bucket™ Fermenter!  You will enjoy many of the benefits of a stainless conical fermenter but at a fraction of the cost and you are going to love how easy it is to use!  Made by Ss Brewing Technologies from polished 304 Stainless Steel, the Brew Bucket™ fermentor is not only functional it is downright beautiful. At MoreBeer!  we know brewing equipment and we truly believe this is a piece of equipment you are going to enjoy using every brew day.

We inspected and used the Brew Bucket™ and one of the most unique features that stood out is that the Brew Bucket can be stacked during fermentation, even with an airlock attached. We also like the conical bottom that allows trub to settle out in a concentrated space that minimizes the surface area of the trub that is in contact with your beer.  The included Patent Pending Rotating Racking Valve is also a brilliantly simple design allowing you to rotate the racking arm inside the Brew Bucket down during fermentation to minimize trub, and later up to get clear beer when racking!   Etched Volume Markers on the inside were super handy when filling and display in both Liters and Gallons.

The build quality is really amazing for the price. Welds are clean. The lid is strong and the spring loaded lid hatches are solid.  The lid includes a removable, molded silicone gasket that ensures an airtight seal.  We love an airtight seal so that we can be sure to see the airlock working.  The welded on stainless handles make the BrewBucket fermentor super easy to move.

Overall: Very functional, easy-to-use, will last a lifetime, and looks amazing. Lets make some beer!

I had been eyeballing these for awhile. After listening to the Brülosophy podcast and hearing Marshall talk these up I started doing more research. This seemed to be the perfect way to step up my home-brew game without spending an arm and a leg.

What is the ID and OD of the hose barb (what size tubing do I need for transfers)?
Craig Zubris on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The ID is 1/4" and the OD is 3/8". I've been using 3/8" ID tubing, but I have to hold it, or use a clamp while draining the fermenter. 5/16" (or maybe 8mm) ID tubing would be a better choice.
How much does this weigh?

This thing is well built and incredibly functional.
This was super easy to set up. A quick Clean, then a soak to passivate the stainless, and then it took about 5 mins to put it all back together and begin fermenting my first batch. Love being able to use the valve to take a quick hydrometer reading without exposing the beer to oxygen. Great design. Incredibly happy that I added this to my gear. Will likely pick up the FTSs Temperature Stabilizer to take it to the next level.

Nice stainless steel bucket
I decided to replace all of my carboys with stainless steel. This bucket is a great option vs pricey conicals. I still plan to get a couple of conicals in the future, but for now, this bucket is great. I am a little annoyed by the odd sized bung and it pops through the lid if you push it in too hard. I also picked up a couple of Anvils due to their price. I think they are equivalent in quality except the Anvils are not stack-able but the Anvils did come with standard sized plugs and airlocks.

Really good fermenter
I’ve done 4 batches and so far, it hasn’t let me down. Easy to clean. The four latches create a nice, tight seal. I recommend this product. There are a couple of improvements that would do in order to make this a 5 star review. The handles are too small. The thickness and diameter of the handles should be larger; fingers hurt when moving a full load of wort. Also, I wish there was a larger diameter hole in the lid to fit a stopper with an airlock/thermowell.

Excellent fermentation bucket
I upgraded to the Brew Bucket from the Fermonster, and it has been an acceleration towards my fermentation timelines. Love the giant mout that it provides and a conical bottom to catch the nastiness. Got another one for secondary and additional batches. Especially with the 90 degree blowoff valve to 1/2” tubing is great.

Really liking it!
I waited until after a few brew days to leave this review, to make sure I put it through it's paces. With each brew day I like it more and more! Compared to the thick (and now broken) 20 year old glass carboy it replaced, it's just plain awesome. Lightweight, easy to clean, easy to rack to and from, and easy to harvest yeast. Yeah it's pricey compared to other options but I have zero regrets. Good stuff!

Rock solid and straight forward.
This is a pricey upgrade but SO worth it. I just bough my second one. I am slowly moving to all stainless and these fermentors are just the right price with common sense features. I like just the plain bucket to keep the price down. Super easy to clean and sanitize. Racking out the valve has been a dream come true. Just dunk some tubing in sanitize for 5 minutes and you're good to go. Super product from a super designer sold at a super shop.

Not impressed!
On my first attempt, no CO2 bubbles were ever seen in the water trap, and I had added two liters of yeast starter. After two weeks of fermentation the beer tastes like beer. What’s happening? I like to monitor the progress of fermentation by the CO2 activity.

Hi Orville - Please ensure the gasket in the lid is sealing properly. A spray of StarSan may help.

There are fancy as fermenters with tri clamps and multiple access points but this is simple inexpensive greatness that’s a snap to clean up. I’m loving it. Light weight and easy to move. Does what is suppose to and simple to clean. I’m loving it and just bought another.

One of the best buys as a homebrewer
Most home-brew fermenters have some sort of major flaw. Plastic buckets soak up odors and need careful cleaning. Plastic carboys are worse to clean. Glass carboys are only suitable for those who like extensive surgery when they inevitably shatter. Small conicals are nice but super pricey.

Enter the brew bucket. Stainless steel so you can pour boiling water on it, blast it with chemicals or scour it with a scrub pad. The conical base catches all of your trub, and a nice, convenient stainless steel valve with a racking arm lets you transfer by gravity straight into a keg through the dip tube with the appropriate liquid disconnect.

Really what's not to like? If you intend on home brewing with any level of seriousness (I've been brewing for five years) then this will easily pay for itself once you factor in periodic replacement of plastic fermenters and auto siphons.

In short: I'll be buying more
