Upgrade your home brewery with an innovative, Stainless Steel, 3.5 Gallon Brew Bucket™ Fermenter!  Many have asked for a smaller BrewBucket, and that has been heard.  The Brew Bucket mini is perfect for 2.5 gallon batches.  With features similar to the original 7 gallon Brew Bucket, the Mini is a great way to do smaller batches.  Whether you are interested in splitting a 5 gallon batch for experimenting, or just brew 2.5 gallons, the BrewBucket Mini is a great choice.

Featuring a conical bottom, 304 SS construction, a rotating racking arm valve, and stackable design, these are space saving feature rich fermenters that are easy and enjoyable to use.

We inspected and used the Brew Bucket™ and one of the most unique features that stood out is that the Brew Bucket can be stacked during fermentation, even with an airlock attached. We also like the conical bottom that allows trub to settle out in a concentrated space that minimizes the surface area of the trub that is in contact with your beer.  The included Patent Pending Rotating Racking Valve is also a brilliantly simple design allowing you to rotate the racking arm inside the Brew Bucket down during fermentation to minimize trub, and later up to get clear beer when racking!   Etched Volume Markers on the inside were super handy when filling.

The build quality is really amazing for the price. Welds are clean. The lid is strong and the spring loaded lid hatches are solid.  The lid includes a removable, molded silicone gasket that ensures an airtight seal.  We love an airtight seal so that we can be sure to see the airlock working. The welded on stainless handles make the BrewBucket fermentor super easy to move.

  • 304 SS Food Grade Construction
  • Rotating Racking Arm & Valve (Patent Pending)
  • 3.5 Gal Max Capacity (2.5 gal Batches)
  • 40° Conical Bottom for Trub Trapping
  • Nests for Storage & Stacks for Ferment!
  • SS lid w/ Silicone Gasketed seal
  • Spring Loaded Lid Clamps for Airtight Lid Seal
  • Offset Airlock Hole includes Silicone Stopper
  • Gallon Markers inside for visual volume assessment
  • Stainless construction resists damage and is easy to clean
  • 8.5" Bottom Width / 11" Top Width x 16" Height

I like to brew small batches, and this is an upgrade from plastic. Hopefully the built in racking arm will also make my racking cane obsolete so I can reduce clutter.

does this model have handles?
Fernando Mercader on Jun 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: First one I bought did not have handles and the silicone stand was not attached so I purchased an extra stand. The second one has the handles and the stand is attached

SS 3.5G Brewbucket a great upgrade for small batches
Very satisfied with the new 3.5G brewbucket. Easily fits into my minifridge connected to an Inkbird temp controller. Finish is very polished inside and out which has to be next best thing to glass but more durable. Silicone seal with four hinge locks worked perfectly as evidenced by vigorous bubbler activity. Would prefer flat silicone washers on the spigot vs orings but this is moot as the orings are working.

Bonus is my iSpindle wifi works through the ss bucket and minifridge! Means that I can track fermentation progress without opening the lid to peel or draw samples.

Handles made movement up and down stairs secure and the attached base protected the spigot and bottom from any unintentional bumps.

I look forward to kegging next without using a siphon.
First brew with my new 3.5Gal SS Brewbucket.

Stainless FTW
Great design and solid construction. My only complaint is the single, small hole for the airlock. I had to drill another one in the center of the lid to accommodate another stopper for my temp. probe.

Awesome little fermenter.
This fermenter is just what I was looking for. It is sturdy with handles and an attached rubber stand. This is a big step up from a Mr. Beer plastic fermenter.

Great quality
Perfect for Kombucha continuous brew. Only other accessary needed is a Rack Cane Filter to keep spigot from clogging.

Only complaint is that MoreBeer does not sell the Kombucha lid.

New bucket includes handles and attached base
Writing this since most negative reviews here are about the handles and the base. A new version of the Mini Brew Bucket (i purchased from Morebeer in Aug. 2020) now comes with handles, and the base is attached.

Hard to move
No handles and an unattached base make it difficult to move by one's self.

Great ferment; oddly lacks good mobility
Good: Great fermenter, definitely at same high quality of other SS Brewtech products. Interchangeable parts with larger models.

Bad: Moving it while full is more than inconvenient... no handles (you potentially displace liquid having to hug/squeeze it) and the rubber base is not attached. So moving this small fermenter is a 2-person job simply because you need so many hands and you can't set it down without the base.

Poor design
I regret buying this bucket. Actual bucket itself is built well nice thick SS. But the basis is a separate item and there is no handles. A used Carpenters tape to keep it attached to the bucket. I can get my fingers under the lid, but one slip and it's on the ground. I brew 3 gals so very little headspace. I would personally recommend buying the anvil 4 gallon over this it's not as well built but it's more functional.

Quality, Quality, Quality
Sure, you'll pay more for this than a plastic fermenter, But you'll be hard pressed to find something as quality as this product.
