Description

This shortened malt pipe will enable our 20L Braumeister to brew 10L batches (from 5 gallons to 2.5 gallons). The way these Braumeisters function during the mashing stage, a smaller batch than 20L is usually not an option. By utilizing this shortened mash pipe, you can now brew either a 2.5 or 5 gallon batch with your 20L Braumeister!

Switching to keeping 3 gallon kegs in the beer fridge, smaller quantities and more variety. I will brew 5 gallon batches of some varieties that are popular with friends and family splitting into two 3 gal kegs, but in general I'll be brewing 2 1/2 gallons of all different styles.

Works fine for sous vide
Admittedly, I have not used this shortened pipe to brew beer. I've used it when I wanted to turn my Braumeister into a sous vide circulator and it worked just fine for that.
