decent
really interesting book, teaches all about the history or the modern IPA with interesting facts but not as much about the brewing side than expected. talks a lot about commercial brewing but limited of home brewing and home brewing recipes. stil worth getting just for the facts and history.

Expected great things, but didn't deliver
This is a great book for the amateur homebrewer who wants to learn about the history of IPA's, but doesn't offer much information on the technical side on brewing. Book is nearly 200 pages of IPA history followed by nearly 100 pages of IPA recipes. Would have preferred more brewing information.
